I’m Lesley Allen, a psychotherapist and coach with over 20 years’ experience helping people create real, lasting change.

Most of the people I work with are not new to personal development or therapy.

They’ve already tried to think things through.
They’ve reflected, analysed, and made efforts to change.

And yet something still doesn’t shift.

That’s usually because the issue isn’t just the situation itself .....
it’s the pattern underneath and how the mind is responding to it.

That’s the level I work at.

How I work

My approach combines:

  • BWRT®  - neuroscience-based approach that works directly with the brain’s automatic responses, allowing us to change patterns quickly and effectively without the need to revisit or relive the past.

  • Subconscious pattern work

  • Coaching and psychotherapy

This allows us to work directly with the patterns that drive thoughts, emotional responses, and behaviour, rather than just talking about them.

So instead of understanding the problem better…

you begin to experience a different response to it

And that’s where real change starts.

The kind of work I do

I work with people who are often:

  • functioning well on the outside

  • carrying more internally than others realise

  • at a point where something needs to change

  • unsure what that change looks like,  but know they can’t stay where they are

This might show up as:

  • feeling stuck or in transition

  • overthinking or second-guessing decisions

  • a loss of clarity or direction

  • repeating patterns that don’t seem to shift

It’s not always dramatic..... But it’s significant.

My background

I have over 15 years’ experience in psychotherapy and coaching, working with clients across a wide range of issues- from anxiety and stress to deeper identity and life transition work.

My training includes:

  • BWRT® (BrainWorking Recursive Therapy) Level 3

  • Coaching and psychotherapy approaches

  • Neuroscience-informed methods

  • Additional work in mindfulness and mind-body connection

Over time, my work has evolved to focus less on surface-level change, and more on the underlying patterns that drive how we think, feel, and respond.

A grounded approach

My work is:

  • structured, not vague

  • practical, not abstract

  • focused on results, not endless processing

I won’t keep you talking about something for months without movement.

The aim is always to help you move forward — with clarity and confidence
